Wine Bar.

We love artisanal wines that say everything about their origins. The name behind High Fidelity is one that defined the wine standard for Stuttgart: Bernd Kreis. Formerly the sommelier at Wielandshöhe, a one star michelin restaurant, and named „Europe’s best sommelier“, he has managed a wine trade in Stuttgart for over 25 years. His wine taste is legendary and accurate. At High Fidelity, he opens his wine cellar for us and the extensive wine list of over 800 wines offers many classics as well as rarities that are highly sought-after. Of course, we are happy to provide any guidance you may need.

Bernd Kreis | High Fidelity | Stuttgart

The last award will be given to a real veteran of the sommelier world, and thus none other than Bernd Kreis. With his wine bar High Fidelity in Stuttgart, he has enriched the wine scene of the Swabian metropole with a very special gem that is the envy of many major cities. A concept you would rather expect in Tokyo – vinyl and finest wines. It is obvious that Bernd Kreis has chosen every single wine with great care, each winemaker stands for his personal strength and plays his role in the selection, nothing is redundant. In this way, Bernd Kreis conveys his great wine knowledge to his guests without words an in unobtrusive way.

(Eulogy from Sascha Speicher, editor-in-chief meiningers Sommelier, Mainz, 2022)
